No, you're not alone. I can barely read the English version of the site, either. Just so the developers know, poor translation can result in what could be a good distribution (don't know - never used it) being tossed aside due to the fact that people don't want to [re]translate the page in their minds - it's too much work. Hope to see improvements in the translation area sometime soon.

Sorry, am I ( I'm German, but that's not my fault (-: ) the first one to recognize that Your English is even worse than a translation of Microsofts own error messages into German? [and we all know how bad they are. Yes, we do. ~.~]
I hardly took sense out of any sentence and in mine eyes it's simply poor to let a program take a translation for You and not even to read the text over again to find that simple things like "il y a" which means "there is / there are" are translated wrong and everything looks weird and odd.
I would love to see this site properly translated by a human being with some basic knowledge of both the Frenche and the English language.
(Afaik, there should be some of that kind even in France ;-P)
It won't become worse, that's for sure.

Have fun with the project, the success will follow. =)

I looked all over the place... next time i boot it, i'll try elbuntu just in case.
p.s. it took 5 minutes to boot! wazzup? amd366/160mb ram.

Please take this as constructive criticism. Your English web page is poorly translated. It makes little sense. You just need someone to translate that uses English as a primary language.

Hi, this is elbuntu (and the domain elbuntu.org exists :)
In the past, the name was ebuntu. But we changed it to elbuntu to avoid corresponding to edubuntu distro .
